I just came back from CA several hours ago, but was determined to do something for the gogreen challenge... sorry for the terrible picture, but it's almost 2am here so the lighting isn't that great, and I don't have any good way of photographing something this tall. :P
I decided to make a topiary out of tissue paper flowers -- the same kind of flowers that Tami made in her gorgeous gift package on Tuesday. I recycled tissue paper (white, light blue, dark blue), a wedding favor shot glass I received years ago, packing peanuts and disposable chopsticks from take-out. I used the Raindrop Background to stamp brown dots on the blue tissue paper, and stamped the DB Flourish in blue ink onto white tissue paper. One chopstick served as my stem and packing peanuts keeps it in place.

I used the image sheet from a dollar stamp I picked up this weekend in the window. The circle frame is cut from a cereal box and stamped with little kitty footprints all over, I know they don't show but they are there. I love this new stamp set. It is not my usual to get critter type stamps, I am more of a floral/ swirl type person, but these kittys were just to adorable to resist. The kitty is stamped on packaging in black, cut out and inked with chalk ink to warm it up. Inside is the fish tank from the set that I stamped from packaging of another stamp set I picked up this. It had a mottled blue background and I stamped the fish tank so that the blue was in the water part only. I know...I know...I am so clever...hehe. I then colored in the fish with colored pencils. The inside reads "LUNCH?"

I was really excited to hear about this week's gogreen challenge! When I got a couple of new EK Success edger/border punches, I just couldn't throw away the packaging. It had such a pretty pattern on it, so I saved it.
This week's gogreen challenge was just the thing to inspire me to recycle the packaging into a card! What I really liked is that the packaging was made of thin cardboard, so when I die cut it, it made a custom-shaped patterned chipboard piece!
